  1. In a medium saucepan sweat garlic and 1 tbsp. butter together. Add chicken broth, then all other ingredients except cheese and remaining butter.
  2. Simmer for 6–7 minutes until thickened, stirring regularly to keep bottom from burning.
  3. Stir in remaining butter and parmesan cheese. Let rest for 2–3 minutes and serve.
