THRIVE Life Food Storage Meatballs

Freeze dried meats are so versatile, you can make casseroles, meatloaf, and more.  I ventured out today and made some meatballs with my freeze dried sausage and ground beef.  The recipe is quick and easy and you don’t have to have your hands covered in raw meat!  They do come out a little more crumbly but they taste great.

Ingredients:
1 cup thrive freeze dried sausage crumbles*
1 cup thrive freeze dried ground beef*
1 thrive powdered egg*
1/4 cup thrive powdered milk*
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tbs fresh garlic
1 tbs thrive italian seasoning
1/2 oz olive oil

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.  Form into 1-2″ balls.  Bake on 400 for 15 minutes for until slightly browned.  Serve with your choice of pasta and sauce.
